The metric system isn't going away. It's not as though France (or any other nation that uses the metric system) is going to wake up one day and go, "Man, what a big mistake we made. We should switch over to Imperial measurements. Does anyone have the UK's cell number?"

The sooner that we switch over, the better.

In the United States, anywhere between 1,500 and 2,500 people per week are still dying from Covid-19. Which begs the question: Why does everyone think that the pandemic is over? And combine that with the weekly deaths that we get from the 'regular' flu, sometimes, the death toll is as high as 4,000 people. Every week. Still.

Why are so many people so desperate to declare the pandemic is over when it isn't?
