armed with smart phones, cyberpunks repurposed old sleeping bags into a new concept called "sleeping bag cocoons" creating impromptu VR chambers, giving them temporary reprieve from the cold neon world of cyberpunk, Into a softer, digital light.
Not only did the cyberpunk bridge sanctuaries give shelter, but also connection, cyberpunks, formed new alliances and slowly created their own new sub culture of cyberpunk, "Bridge Punk"
Gathering under bridges bridge punks took part in the now sacred to their culture act of eating spicy ramen, gathering around steamy bowls, each slurp creating a bond to last the millennium.
no matter what our struggles, we know we have each other, in the cold world of cyberpunk it's easy to feel disonfranchised and alone, surrounded by cold metal, concrete and neon lights. but I'm the end, it all comes down to one thing, love. if we are able to transcend this digital abyss, and make the world a little better, maybe, just maybe, we can make it to the other side of the bridge, together.
