I have no idea if I'm normal. According to my critics, I am most decidedly not.
However, I keep getting songs that are stuck in my head and I know that I'm not the only one who encounters this phenomenon.
I've been meaning to write all of these songs down if only to see if there is some pattern to it all. I know, deep down in my heart, that there isn't.
The latest song that I currently can't rid myself of is "I Think We're Alone Now," a song that debuted in the late 1960s but made most famous by the artist Tiffany back in the 1980s.
I have no idea why it's stuck inside of my head at the moment.
The best guess is that I was reminded of the movie trailer of "10 Cloverfield Lane" which featured a rendition of the song. And, ironically, whenever I think of the song, I think of the Weird Al Yankovic parody of that song, "I Think I'm a Clone Now." Yet the song that is stuck in my head is clearly the Tiffany rendition of the song.
I have no idea how long this is going to last. These songs just pop in, stay as long as they like and then vanish just as quickly as they arrive.
I wasn't even a fan of the artist and I'm pretty sure that I wasn't a fan of the song when Tiffany released her version of it.
Anyway, I'm just curious if anyone else currently has a song stuck in their head.
