How do I get over my breakup?

I just broke up with my boyfriend and I don't know how to cope with the heartbreak. I feel like I can't breathe and I just want to lie in bed and cry all day. Has anyone been through something similar? Please offer me some advice on how to deal with this awful feeling. |

i had a bad breakup that ruined my life. the only thing you can do is suck it up and walk through the pain. there are people right now who have your back, even if it's really really hard to see . i wish i could have seen them while they were there. you will look back at your pain very differently than how you feel about it now. |

Focus on things that are in your control and not things that are not in your control like break ups. Also, you aren't reacting to your break up, you're reacting to your opinion on the event that just happened. Change your opinion and you'll get over it. |
